چکیده
A conventional route to create such nanoscale electronic devices using the autonomous ordering and assembly of organic molecules on atomically well-defined surfaces has been proposed. However, these thin films are unstable in realistic environments due weak interaction between crystal surfaces. Therefore, enhancing interfacial them is assigned as key approach extend scope application promising monolayer films. In this work, we demonstrate formation an monolayer, namely 3,4,5-trimethoxy diazonium (3,4,5-TMD), a Highly Ordered Pyrolytic Graphite (HOPG) electrode by power electrochemical method. The structural properties at nano scale well bonding nature 3,4,5-TMD adlayer HOPG interface were investigated combination cyclic voltammetry (CV), atomic force spectroscopy (AFM) Raman spectroscopy. As result, covalently bond carbon atoms located for forming with its thickness 0.92 ± 0.02 nm. This finding opens partway apply grafting covalent functionalization 2D materials other metallic

Electrochemical surface modification of titanium in dentistry.
Titanium and its alloys have good biocompatibility with body cells and tissues and are widely used for implant applications. However, clinical procedures place more stringent and tough requirements on the titanium surface necessitating artificial surface treatments. Among the many methods of titanium surface modification, electrochemical techniques are simple and cheap. Anodic oxidation is the ...
متن کاملSurface Modification Approaches for Electrochemical Biosensors
Electrochemical biosensors are transducers that convert biological information into electrical information. Electrochemical biosensors provide qualitative and quantitative information (Wang 1999) on the existence and concentration of the target compounds in the analyte in the form of current (amperometric biosensor) or voltage (potentiometric biosensor). A typical amperometric biosensor consist...
متن کاملSurface Modification of Glass Beads with an Aminosilane Monolayer
Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) are monomolecular layers which are spontaneously formed upon immersing a solid substrate into a solution containing functional molecules. The most attractive feature of SAMs is molecular level control over the modification of surfaces, and incorporation of multiple or multilayer molecular components onto the monolayer leads to various functional properties. SAMs...
متن کاملMolecular structure and surface modification of monolayer organic films
Surface functionalization and its potential application in different fields of science and technology make monolayer organic films attractive candidates as linkages between an underlying substrate and other molecular species. By now, self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) [1,2] generated from either alkanethiols (RSH) or disulfides (RSSR) (R= CnH2n+1), have become a practical tool for homogeneous sur...
متن کاملModification of Silica surface by Titanium sol synthesis and characterization
Hydrophobic silica titanium nanoparticles (STNPs) were successfully synthesized by the sol-gel process using liquid modification. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) studies were demonstrated the attachment of titanium on the silica surface. Titanium content enhanced the agglomeration of particles as shown in topography results. The N2 adsorption-desorption followed T...
